Gusto Italian - Knutsford

Lauren was very attentive and knowledgeable with the food and drink, Nick greeted us and found us a nice table. food as always delicious and great atmosphere

We had a very pleasant dinner at Gusto. We've been before and was looking forward to it. As primo, I had the Crab Linguine which was very tasty indeed. For secondo, I had seared tuna steaks. The fish was done to perfection. It wasn't dry and nicely seasoned. The caponata went very well with it. All washed down with a nice glass of Gavi. My friend's Ravioli was delicious and so was the Pork Cutlet. The service was excellent. The waitress helpfully asked in the kitchen the size of the pasta portions and that they could do smaller portions for certain pasta dishes. The orders were taken with a smile and the food served with a smile. Perhaps the portions were a little large, so much so that we could not manage a dessert each. All in all, a lovely evening.

We live locally but don't often visit Gusto as we don't have young children. However, we were taking our Godson to Tattton Christmas lights and decided Gusto was a good option.Table was all ready for us and we were welcomed with a smile. The make your own pizza is a great option for children and in general the food was ok but not amazing. The rocket salad was past it's best and parmesan was very plastic - for £5! Wine was ridiculously expensive - £12 for a medium glass of Gavi. Which just seems outrageous. Toilets are absolutely in need of refurbishment and clean. However, Lidia was incredible. Someone who goes above and beyond to make customers happy and feel welcome. She couldn't do enough for our Godson and he loved it. The rest of the staff were friendly but Lidia was on another level. Gusto has been a staple in Knutsford for so many years and know that many of them have closed, but they really need to look at prices & quality for what really is a place for a 'quick tea'. It was also really really noisy.

I'd like to start by recommending the Three-Meat Lasagna. It was incredible. Juan was a very attentive and considerate server, always with a smile. I started with the Beef Fritto which did not disappoint. Soft and crunchy and the sauce was out of this world. The fries were delicious and crunchy and fluffy. Highly recommended spot in Knutsford!

First time visiting Gusto in Knutsford and it did not disappoint. Extensive menu with plenty to choose from. Service was speedy and our waiter Juan was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and I would not hesitate to book again.

First time here. Nice ambience, delicious food. The wild mushroom starter was tasty but would have like more variety. The cod loin was lush as were the tomato Girasole. The lasagne hit the spot. The bottle of Riva Leon Barbe red wine was well balanced and complemented the meal.

We had such a fantastic experience at Gusto — from the moment we arrived, the service was flawless. The team were warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the evening. Our meal was outstanding. I had the chicken with gnocci and vegetables which was beautifully seasoned and absolutely delicious — cooked to perfection with so much flavour. My partner had the steak, which was tender, juicy, and just as impressive. Drinks and service were great and arrived promptly, and the staff checked in at just the right times without ever feeling intrusive. It's rare to find a restaurant where the service and food are both so consistently excellent. Truly wish we lived closer, as this would absolutely be one of our regular go-to spots.
